Sibu HHH

Hi all,

Went to sibu hash house harriers yesterday... I thought it started at 4:30 pm so I reached there 4:15pm. When I reached there, they already started the run. They told me the run started at 4:00pm. So, I was 15 minutes late... but I ran after all... tried to catch up with them.. after 15 to 20 minutes, managed to follow the hashers... one of the hares led me the way though... been more than half a year since I joined the run... Phew, it was quite tiring but I love it!!! sweat alot.. anyway, it was the first time I join Sibu Hash, cause previously I joined Miri hash.. the difference??? Well, Miri hash is much more fun cause they will tell you whether there are thorns or trip along the way in the jungle.. besides, Miri hashers are much more ruder... haha... they can scold any f*cking words they like during the run... so tat makes the jungle livelier.. haha.. besides ah, the run is longer..
I came out of the jungle at 5:05pm... Phew~~~ I was less than one hour out!!! Cool... shorter run than I thought... felt glad that I still have the stamina and determination to run after quitting for almost a year... need to jaga anak bah.. haha. .. anyway, if I've got the time, I'll join the run again.. Can't wait to join Miri HHH...

Selamat Hari Raya

Today is Hari Raya Aidilfitri.. I mean Hari ini ialah Hari Raya Aidilfitri.. tetapi di sini, tidak ada suasana hari raya kerana sini kebanyakannya ialah orang Cina... banyak kedai buka hari ini.. sudah dua tahun tidak pergi ke rumah untuk melawat and makan makanan yang enak.. rindu lah..

Well, i feel that my Malay is still solid.. haha.. anyway, wish all my malay friends there Selamat Hari Raya.. may you all have an enjoyable day...

Queen E and Prince P

I've always been wondering why Prince Philip did not earn the title "King" when his wife, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned. This took ages for me to search for the answer until one day, I have finally found the answer from Reader's Digest. Mind you, this passage is adapted from Reader's Digest October 2007 issue. Well, here the fact goes.......

In the monarchal system, reigning kings and queens are considered "king regnant" or "queen regnant". The spouse of the king is dubbed "queen consort", a courtesy title giving her no official powers. The spouse of the reigning queen does not become "king consort" because the wife TAKES the RANK and TITLE of her HUSBAND, but not vice versa. Philip was Prince of Greece and Denmark but gave up his title when he became a British subject in 1947. On the eve of his marriage to then Princess Elizabeth on November 20, 1947, King George VI created Philip's new title, Prince and Duke of Edinburgh.

Titles for the progeny of the reigning monarch also differ based on sex. The first-born male becomes the "heir apparent", who will become king when the monarch dies or abdicates. If the monarch has a daughter-but a male heir is expected-she is called "heir presumptive". She becomes heir apparent only when it's clear there will be no male heir. Elizabeth II reigns as queen regnant. She was born heir presumptive and later was called heir apparent.

Sounds complicated huh the monarchy... anyway, what I know is that she is the queen of England. and Prince Philip is her husband.. hehe...

Now he's learning to raise his head... Haha... Went for my baby's second injection. Well, of course every baby cries la when they have their injection. Last month, my baby was 4.6 kg and today, he is 5.8 kg... well according to the chart, for me he is almost overweight... my hubby's sis said it's normal for the first few months cause baby still doesn't know how to walk or crawl.. hope so lo... anyway, his length is now 60 cm... getting taller!!! haha... Tat's all for now... Will update more soon...

Random

Been a couple of weeks since I blogged... Baby is growing.. Time certainly flies. He's going to be 2 months soon!! Now he is learning to raise his head. He smiles alot, of course he cries alot too!! :D took some videos of him.. will upload soon!! Oopps, next week going to bring him for injection, so scary... he'll sure cry one.. then at night he might or might not get a fever. Depends on his immunization... You see, becoming a parent is not easy. You need to stay alert 24 hours a day. You might scare he'll get sick. If he does, you wont have a good sleep. Instead, you'll have sleepless nights... hehe...
Anyway, I'm glad that I've passed my Diploma In Accounting (LCCI). Now aiming for a Professional... (AIA stands for Association of International Accountants) It's not an easy course, similar as ACCA which will take 2 and 1/2 years. hopefully I can go through these hard years.. growing up with my baby too..
Oh yeah, went back to Miri last week. Only for 2 days.. Managed to spend time with my family members. My dad's leg is getting better. He had been staying in the hospital for a week. And a week costed him RM4000++... Miri medical Clinic memang expensive. Hopefully he will get well soon when I get back to Miri next next month. Cant wait to bring my baby to see my parents. They have been longing to see him!!!
