However, those cars are jammed... pity them... well, today is a sunny day.. can see that the flood is receding.... <div><br /><br /></div><div>Went from my workplace to Sibu Town... along the road, I could see most of the roads covered with brownish water... James is getting bigger and bigger each day...<br />He is learning how to roll over... raising his head while laying on his stomach... he looks very cute when he was laying on his tummy.. I have taken a picture of him while he was doing that.. will let you guys see soon...<br />Apart from that, he's learning to raise his neck... he always looks for something... staring and sometimes watching movies with me.. cause I want to watch ma, so I put him on my lap and he watches with me lor.. haha.. :D<br />He had an injection today... it was different from the previous two injections he had before... This time he smiled at the doctor.. the doctor talked to him and James was baby talking back to the doctor.... when the doc injected something into his thigh, he didnt even cry... he cried the previous time.. haha...<br />after that, we went to doc's room... James was sitting on my lap and doctor was talking to me... James thought the doc was talking to him and he kept mumbling and smiling... shows that James was not afraid of strangers.. ahaha... I think James will be a kepoh guy when he grows up.. now he keeps mumbling and holding his own hands together... duno wat he's talking about... haizz.. wish I could understand baby language.. can communicate with my little one ma... haha...<br />After going for injection, it was my turn to see my doctor.. thank God doc told me my ovary was okay.. it was shrinking normally.. and...... he told me to give birth again next year.. I was laughing all the way.. I thought it started at 4:30 pm so I reached there 4:15pm. When I reached there, they already started the run. They told me the run started at 4:00pm. So, I was 15 minutes late... but I ran after all... tried to catch up with them.. after 15 to 20 minutes, managed to follow the hashers... one of the hares led me the way though... been more than half a year since I joined the run... Phew, it was quite tiring but I love it!!! sweat alot.. anyway, it was the first time I join Sibu Hash, cause previously I joined Miri hash.. the difference??? Well, Miri hash is much more fun cause they will tell you whether there are thorns or trip along the way in the jungle.. besides, Miri hashers are much more ruder... haha... they can scold any f*cking words they like during the run... so tat makes the jungle livelier.. haha.. besides ah, the run is longer..<br />I came out of the jungle at 5:05pm... Phew~~~ I was less than one hour out!!! Cool... shorter run than I thought... felt glad that I still have the stamina and determination to run after quitting for almost a year... need to jaga anak bah.. haha. .. anyway, if I've got the time, I'll join the run again.. Last month, my baby was 4.6 kg and today, he is 5.8 kg... well according to the chart, for me he is almost overweight... my hubby's sis said it's normal for the first few months cause baby still doesn't know how to walk or crawl.. hope so lo... anyway, his length is now 60 cm... getting taller!!! haha... Baby is growing.. Time certainly flies. He's going to be 2 months soon!! Now he is learning to raise his head. Oopps, next week going to bring him for injection, so scary... he'll sure cry one.. then at night he might or might not get a fever. Depends on his immunization... You see, becoming a parent is not easy. You need to stay alert 24 hours a day. You might scare he'll get sick. If he does, you wont have a good sleep. Instead, you'll have sleepless nights... hehe...<br />Anyway, I'm glad that I've passed my Diploma In Accounting (LCCI). Now aiming for a Professional... (AIA stands for Association of International Accountants) It's not an easy course, similar as ACCA which will take 2 and 1/2 years. hopefully I can go through these hard years.. growing up with my baby too..<br />Oh yeah, went back to Miri last week. Only for 2 days.. Managed to spend time with my family members. My dad's leg is getting better. He had been staying in the hospital for a week. And a week costed him RM4000++... Miri medical Clinic memang expensive. Hopefully he will get well soon when I get back to Miri next next month. Cant wait to bring my baby to see my parents. Hashing alot when I was in Miri but seldom attending their On On!! Cause I think it's a waste of money.. But I did join a couple of times... When there are big events going on. I attended this On On last year May. It was held in Imperial Hotel. It was to celebrate 33th Anniversary of Miri HHH. I had a great time hashing in the jungle. Ran for 2 hours inside the jungle I think.<br />Regarding the On On, we had to past through a jungle like entrance. It was kinda eerie.. but nice. After that, we had a buffet and beer. Beer is the most important thing during On On. The hashers are crazy. They will force you to have one go. I had One Go a couple of times. It was cool la... Haha..Anyway, my bro and I had free flow of beer cause it was a treat from Bekenu Boy. He's an experienced hasher. Been hashing for 20 to 30 years. Cool Right? These 6 weeks have been a tough moment for me and William. Having a baby can be full of surprises. It can be exciting, but just look at the other flip of the coin. It can be a nightmare. Especially night feedings. We have to wake up 2 to 3 times to feed baby. If everything goes smoothly, he'll sleep after the feeding. However, if not, he'll start crying for no purpose, I tell you, crying for NOTHING!!! What to do?!?! You have to carry him, walking around, hugging him, BEGGING him to sleep. Sleepless nights... Haizz... What to do leh, I'm his mother.. Give him pacifier, sometimes he will spit it out, that means he DOESN'T WANT!!! Anyway, right now he still wakes up late at night, but it has been a routine for us already. You can see panda eyes.. Hehe.<br />Oh yeah, they said Ah Nong and Baby James look quite alike especially the eyes. Actually many things had happened lately. It's just that I didn't have the time and mood to blog. I've given birth to a baby boy on <span style="color:#33cc00;">6th August 2007</span> time 7.35 pm. Wanna know about the process of giving birth? Well, let you guys experience it yourself. Haha. Actually the so-called 'menstrual' pain started on saturday morning 4th August 2007. I wasn't able to have good sleep at night.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />The next day, the pain continued. So I went to see the doctor and the doctor scanned and checked my baby. He told me that baby was still in my tummy. Not ready to get out. However, I could have the option either to go to the hospital (Sibu Medical Clinic-SMC) or wait at home. Waiting for me to get dilated... at least 10 cm..but what to do, every woman has to undergo this stage. :D So, my hubby advised me to stay at the hospital for good. That day, I went to the hospital.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Changed my clothes into nightie at the labour room. I saw a young mother waiting with excruciating pain for her baby to come out. It was awful. I could not imagine myself inside the room, waiting for labour. Then, I went back to my room. The nurse and some trainees came to check on me from time to time. A couple of times, the nurse checked whether my vagina has opened or not. Well, it had not opened for the whole day. But I continued to suffer the 'menstrual' pain. It was getting more and more painful. Still no blood or water coming out... hehe.. The whole day I spent walking down the hallways of the hospital. From time to time, I would go to the nursing room and see the babies. They were mostly sleeping. At night time I still had to suffer the pain. Couldn't sleep. The very next day, I went to the labour room at 11a.m. Doctor came. He said he would help me to get the dilation process moving. So, the doctor broke my water. That one, I tell you, no pain.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I lay on that bed for approximately 5 hours. That very 5 hours, was the most painful experience I have ever had in my life. It was so painful that I kept on shouting and holding everything I had. I could not stand the pain. However, I thanked God for giving my such wonderful nurses. They were very helpful and kept telling me how to relieve my pain. But I still felt painful. They chatted with me. As you know, most Sibu people are foochows. But the nurse who was with me talked Hokkien. So I could feel a close connection with her. During the 5 hours, they checked m vagina. It has opened a couple of centimetres. At 4.15pm, I could not stand the pain anymore and I requested for epidural. Alas, this has reduced my pain into more than half. For those who could not stand the pain, I would advise you to take epidural. The pain that you felt is like menstrual pain you have once a month. My hubby came at around 6pm. He accompanied me from then on.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />At almost 7p.m, the nurse checked on me, I was already 10cm dilated. The nurse called the doctor. The doctor came. The nurse told me to open my leg. Then, the doctor switched off the epidural equipment. That time, I started to feel the pain I had previously. Doctor said he wanted me to feel the contraction so that I can push out my baby. He asked my hubby whether he wanted to see my deliver. Hell no, who would want to see that? He was not even prepared yet. So he waited outside, waiting for a new life born.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />At 7pm, doctor told me to push when I felt the pain. As you see, the pain came once for every 2 to 3 minutes. So, when the pain came, I needed to push as much as I could. So, there it goes, I pushed whenever I felt the pain. When I felt the pain, that meant I had contraction. Thus, I had to push the baby out. Pain, Push, Pain Push. And the most important thing is, the nurses told me not to shout. Of course, I cooperated. I didnt shout much. I concentrated on pushing. This lasted for 35 minutes. For the last 10 minutes, the doctor said, "The baby's head's coming out!!!! Keep pushing!!!" He looked more excited than I was. The nurses helped me alot. They encouraged me to push whenever needed. I was really lucky to meet such nice nurses.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Finally, my baby came out. Bloopp!!!! It was like a bucket of water being splashed out. For the very first time, I heard my baby crying. Thank God it was all over. I sighed with relief. Of course, the doctor fetched my baby and he passed my baby to the nurse. The nurse brought the baby to me. She didnt let me hold him. Well, he was purple in colour. I couldnt see clearly cause I didnt wear my glasses. I could only see him private part. Haha!! The nurse took my baby for a little shower and went out. My baby cried for a while and stopped crying. My hubby, who was waiting outside told me that after baby stopped crying, he was looking around the room. His eyes opened widely, looking around the room. He was 3.1kg. Not too heavy and not too light. Meanwhile, the doctor now started to stitch up my underneath. I tell you, no pain la... hehe... After that, the nurses moved me to another bed and brought me to my room. That time I couldnt stand up yet cause I feared I would faint for losing a lot of blood.<br /><br />Two Weeks Old<br /><br /><br />When I reached my room, I called my mum and dad in Miri. "Mum, I had finally made it!!!" My parents and siblings were happy. So were my aunties and uncles in Miri. My hubby's brothers and sisters came to visit me. Actually not me, they were more interested in seeing the baby. Haizz, is like tat one. If you have given birth, they would see the baby more than you. Haha!!! As for me, I'm not that anxious to see my baby cause I would have to face him starting from now on until 30 to 40 years. So, why the hurry. Hehe!!! However, I did go to see him the next early morning. There were three babies including mine in the nursing room. All boys... Seems like it was 'so called 'boys season'.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />At 10 am, we were ready to go home. My hubby, my mother in law and me were waiting for the nurse to bring the baby for us. We waited in the room. Baby came and oh my gosh!!! How little he was!!! I couldn't even dare to touch him. He looked so fragile that if I touched him, I feared that he would cry... He was really so little. But, the nurse was so professional. She exchanged his clothes in just seconds. And told me baby is doing fine.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Well, if you ask me which part of my labour I hate most. I would tell you, the waiting part. I had a hard labour for 8 hours, from 11 noon to 7 night. That was the part I hated most. It's a weekday.. nothing much today though. my Sibu friends just got back to Miri. i was sleeping that time and got a message from William.. then i thought my friend was just kidding.. but who knows, Both William and Ming Kion were below my house (shophouse) that time. i was really surprised. but happy to see them though, cause i'm not going to be bored anymore!!! *YaY* today i ate alot as well, i had my lunch, and then my dinner.. after that i went out with both my friends and had supper.. however, when i reached home, my sister bought me some Fish Burger to eat. I was really full but managed to finish all. that's all for today..
